What does the process look like?
The facilitation process is based on several key components. Each part of the process is bespoke – tailor made to meet your specific timeline and needs. The means and methods may vary depending on the circumstances, client factors, or specific issue(s) being addressed.
Regardless of the reason for pursuing facilitation, several common milestones will define progress. First, we work together to identify and define the conflict, obstacle or challenge. Next, we assess all contributors, components or stakeholders and formulate an honest appraisal of the scope and impact of the issue(s) at hand. The desired outcome and plausible alternative are defined in collaboration. Finally, we will develop and implement a multifaceted approach to achieve our goals. Throughout the process, we continuously reappraise and reassess to determine the effectiveness of the current approach, or consider alternatives as appropriate.
Is Facilitation a short or long-term relationship?
Facilitation can be valuable for both short term immediate problems and needs, or as a long-term partnership evolving with you. Short term facilitation is focused around specific issues and is usually time limited, while a long term relationship allows growth as your needs change and can cover multiple areas of focus. We will work with you to ensure maximum benefit in the timeframe you desire.
